The fertilizer that we provide is a custom mix that has been specially prepare for us. It has been blended to meet the very special needs of tropical fruit trees that are grown here in South Florida. When used correctly, you will find that the fertilizer is extremely cost effective. Because of the lack of fillers in the mix you will apply less, and because it provides balanced nutrition it usually eliminates any need to supplement with other products.

The price for one 50 lb. bag is $20.00, including sale tax.

For young or recently planted trees we recommend that you fertilize them every 4 to 6 weeks. Some people may choose to fertilize every three months for established trees. However because of South Florida's sandy soil most of the fertilizer may be washed away with the rains. We choose to  fertilize in smaller amounts every 4 to 6 weeks providing a more consistent supply of nutrition to the trees. Very large mature trees do not require fertilizer often. and you should applied it only as needed.

Newly planted trees should be given one month to establish themselves after planting, before you fertilize them for the first time.

The following is a general guide line. Because of varying conditions it may not meet the specific needs of every tree all of the time.  It is essential that you assess the needs of your trees regularly, and make necessary adjustments to their care accordingly.

For every 1inch in the diameter of the trunk of the tree, you should apply 1 lb. of fertilizer around the outer drip line where the young feeder roots are located. The outer drip line is the farthest point away from the trunk of the tree where the water drips down from the branches.

For each1 inch of trunk diameter use1 pound of fertilizer
